The Seoul Capitol is the more commonly known name of the Japanese Colonial Administration Building in Korea (Korean: 조선 총독부 청사, Joseon-chongdokbu Cheongsa). In 1910, Korea was annexed and became a colony of the Japanese Empire. Demolition was completed in the fall of 1996. President Kim Young-sam chose 1995 for the demolition, this year marking the 50th anniversary of the end of Japanese colonial rule and the 600th anniversary of Gyeongbokgung Palace. In 1993, the demolition of the building was called into question, it was still seen as a symbol of Japanese imperialism and it also hindered the restoration of the palace complex. The Champions League final was a re-edition of the 1993 UEFA Cup final, when Dortmund and Juventus also faced each other. The building was not invaded again after the Burning of Washington by the British in 1814. Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi called for Sund's resignation a day later. In the second Quarter Quell (the 50th Hunger Games), two boys and two girls from each district had to compete, increasing the number of tributes from 24 to 48. This was to remind the inhabitants of the districts that for every capitol resident there were two rebels died.
The nationalist president Rhee refused, partly because the ruin partly symbolized the end of the Japanese occupation. This lasted until the early 1980s, when the building became temporarily empty and was converted into the National Museum of South Korea by President Chun Doo-hwan. In the 19th century, a romantic-style park with a belvedere was created in the former churchyard of the parish church of St Mary Magdalene: St Mary's Gardens. It was not until the arrival of President Park Chung-hee that restoration was started and from 1962 it once again housed various government organizations. On July 24, 1948, Syngman Rhee was sworn in here as the first president of South Korea, followed by the inauguration of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) on August 15. The official surrender of Japan in Korea took place in front of this building. In the 1991/1992 season it played in the third level for the first time. With this new line-up, Johan started writing their third full-length. Augustus replaced these with fourteen new ones, eight inside the city wall and six outside it. The message of this Quarter Quell was that not even the strongest of the districts could beat the Capitol. The detector vibrates when it detects lies or the concealment of the truth.
